Multimedia Installation
Excerpts from an immersive multimedia installation I worked on with a group of media artists during my time as the Audio and Music Technology intern at The Evergreen State College. The project served as a vehicle for technical and creative exploration across a multitude of mediums. It drew upon our collective knowledge and expertise in animation, video, sound, music, technical engineering, lighting, set design, and coordinating the production of a live event in a broadcast studio environment. The nature of the project allowed me to use new technical learning in service of executing artistic visions. This included creative problem-solving in the realms of mixing audio, routing signals digitally and physically, setting up non-traditional speaker arrays, working across software, pairing sound and image creatively, and working with other media interns to make our collective abstract visions concrete.
Zeaux Live Session
Videos from a filmed, in-studio, live recording session at The Evergreen Sate College that I did for my band at the time, Zeaux. I took on the role of being the producer and artistic director, doing pre and post-production work, and performing as one of the subjects in the production. I had to consider music composition and performance, studio lights, cameras, audio, set design, and how to bring everything together to create a cohesive end product. In the post-production phase, I practiced working with editing video in Premiere as well as refining my mixing and mastering skills.
